  • Free guided tours begin at the north door on second floor, tours are offered:
  • Monday – Friday at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 a.m., and at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays and Holidays at 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. and at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.
  • Sundays at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.
  • The Capitol’s grounds and promenade deck are open for passive use during daylight hours as weather permits. The main north entrance on K Street and the upper promenade deck around the Capitol are closed once temperatures are below freezing, or after the first snow of the season, generally mid-October through mid-April.
  • A self-guided exterior tour provides the opportunity to learn about the Nebraska State Capitol when the Capitol is closed.
  • The Nebraska Unicameral Legislature website includes a general map of the Capitol which shows Legislative offices and other spaces in the Capitol.
